BALANCED DIET: Balanced diet contains different types of foods in such quantities and proportions. so, that the need for calories, vitamins, proteins, minerals and other nutrients is adequately met and a small provision is made for extra nutrients to withstand small duration of leanness.

  • Phytochemicals- These are from plants, plants origins like terpenes, phytosterols, flavonoids which are antimutagenic, anticarcinogenic and antioxidant properties.
